Connect SMS (Android app)

SMS is your reliable fallback: if a client has no messenger, Povidomlyaka reaches them by SMS. SMS is sent through a small Povidomlyaka app installed on an Android phone that you provide.

What you'll need

• An Android 13 or newer phone. iPhone is not supported for SMS — if you don't have an Android device, contact support to set up an SMS aggregator instead.

• The phone kept switched on and online, so it can send messages.

Step 1 — Install the app

1. Open Channels and click the SMS channel's status.

2. Scan the QR code with your phone to download the Povidomlyaka SMS app (or use the download link).

3. Install the app, then tap Next in Povidomlyaka.

Step 2 — Authorize

1. Scan the second QR code with the SMS app, or copy the authorization code and paste it into the app.

2. In the app, tap Start Sending.

3. Back in Povidomlyaka, the SMS channel turns Online.

Good to know

• Keep the phone charged and online — if the app stops, SMS stops.

• SMS is charged per message by your mobile operator; keep messages short.

• Prefer not to run a phone? You can also send SMS through a third-party aggregator — Messaggio or Messedo — billed separately on their side.
