What clients see: sender name and photo
Clients see messages from the Telegram or WhatsApp account that you connected to Povidomlyaka. If you connected your personal number, clients see your personal name and profile photo. To show your salon's name and logo, connect a separate business account on another number.
What the client sees
The name and photo from the profile of the account that sent the message.
If the client saved your number in their contacts, they see the name they saved the number under.
You can change the name and photo of your personal account to your salon's name and logo. But then your family and friends see them too.
Telegram
Create a separate Telegram account on another phone number.
In the profile, enter your salon's name as the name, for example "Kvitka Salon", and use your logo as the profile photo.
Optionally, get Telegram Premium and fill in the business profile: address, opening hours and a greeting. This is not required.
Connect this account in Povidomlyaka. See Connect Telegram (personal).
Install the free WhatsApp Business app on another phone number.
Fill in the business profile: salon name, logo, address, opening hours and description. The business profile in WhatsApp Business is free.
If you do not need WhatsApp Business, you can use regular WhatsApp on a separate number, with your salon's name and logo in the profile.
Connect this number in Povidomlyaka. See Connect WhatsApp (QR).
Telegram bot
A bot always shows the name and photo you set in @BotFather. But a bot cannot write to a client first: the client must tap Start first. For reminders to new clients, a business account works better. See Connect a Telegram bot.
Good to know
A separate business number protects your personal account. If a messenger restricts the business number, your personal account keeps working.
Do not start a new number with mass messages. First send appointment reminders and reply to clients.
If you change the number in Povidomlyaka, clients see the messages in a new chat, not in the old conversation.
